My face may be differentBut my feelings the same
I laugh and I cryAnd I take pride in my gains
I was sent here among youTo teach you to love
As God in the heavensLooks down from above
To Him I'm no differentHis love knows no bounds
It's those here among youIn cities and towns
That judge me by standardsThat man has imparted
But this family I've chosenWill help me get started
For I'm one of the childrenSo special and few
That came here to learnThe same lessons as you
That love is acceptanceIt must come from the heart
We all have the same purposeThough not the same start
